The Twilight Symbols

The Twilight Symbols by Dr J A Sykley

A very interesting book that takes all of the symbols, myths and references from The Twilight series of books (written by Stephanie Meyer) and analyses them, giving suggested meanings and ideas as to why they were used and what they really reveal about the characters, the plot and the story.

The official blurb:

The Twilight Symbols is a rich A to Z guide of symbols in the Twilight Saga that will lead you to discover whole new worlds, both real and mystical. It will delight and inform Twilight fans, symbol seekers, and the keenest literature detectives. From apples to zombies, from Forks to Rome, from round meadows to moonlit beaches to dark forests, this compelling and comprehensive sourcebook spotlights the symbols that hide and reside in the Twilight world.

It is also laid out in alphabetical order so you can dip in and out of the book to look things up.  It includes information on everything from apples (appears on the front cover of the first book) through to Zombies (the film they go to watch).

If you are a fan of the books (and the films) you will find this book fascinating,

Available from Amazon.
